Our pledge is to respect our customer’s wants and needs while producing unmatched quality, design integrity and workmanship.

Our Process

Building the home of your dreams should be an exciting and energizing experience, with your home builder assisting you through each step of the process. At Rigsby Builders we want all of our homeowners to understand the steps of building a new home so that we can begin with a foundation of good communication and collaboration.

1. Initial Consultation

Where are you at with regards to home plans?

What features do you want to incorporate into your home?

When do you want to build?

When do you want to be living in your new home?

Are you going to be financing the home with a construction/perm loan or paying for it directly?

What is your budget?

2. Design Phase

During this phase we will use the information from our initial consultation to create ideas and innovative solutions for your project. The custom home building experience is a time of evaluating options to choose the right solution for your unique situation. If you are purchasing a spec home, you save time by having this phase already done and using one of our most popular floor plans.

3. Cost Range

After our initial design phase we will present a range of what we expect your new home to cost. This range will be based on the size and style of the house, the features you wish to include, and the quality of the finishes. If the estimate range is acceptable to you, we will present you with a Proposal Agreement.

4. Proposal Agreement

The Proposal Agreement is an initial contract between Rigsby Builders and the homeowners, agreeing to move forward with project planning. This agreement allows Rigsby Builders to proceed with obtaining complete detailed plans and specifications for your home, and putting together a detailed, fixed price contract for your project. The contract amount will be based on the scope of the plans you have selected and the cost of having the plans reviewed and sealed by a licensed structural engineer.

5. Presentation of Contract

At this meeting we will sit down with you and share a detailed breakdown of the cost to build your project. From this point we can continue to make adjustments if needed to achieve the right home design and value for your family.

6. Construction Phase

Once your home design and a final contract price has been agreed upon we will begin the pre-construction permitting phase, followed by the exciting moment of breaking ground and beginning construction. Customers will be kept up to date with project progress and will be assisted as they make selections on their finishes. We are committed to completing your project on time, for the agreed upon price, with only the highest quality craftsmanship. It is our greatest achievement.

Our process is designed to get each project started on the right foot, allowing us to meet your goals of construction quality, schedule, and budget. Click the button below to inquire about your upcoming project!
